11i: It was placed in 2008, and after 12 years she maintains good gum esthetic level
#21 has a fracture at cervical level where it is impossible to restore correctly.

12 hours later, we placed the custom abutment with 20N/cm torque as a final abutment in order to avoid reconnection, and the provisional placement without occlusal contact.

The socket shield technique and the use of narrow implant ø3.5 looks a predictable way for maintenance of the esthetics and bone crest, and it maintains stable during the follow-up.


This case presents immediate placement and loading with socket shield technique after the extraction of #21.
